Media Creation Room  

This guide to the SWOSU Library's Media Creation Room (MCR) gives you fast access to manuals, tutorials, and other resources to help you get the most out of the MCR's wide array of multimedia software and equipment.

The MCR is located on the first floor of the Al Harris Library, adjacent to the Circulation Desk.

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of copies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. 

The person using the Media Creation Room's equipment is liable for any copyright infringement.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a person makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
